There are several ways to make and label soap as “goat milk”. At Ghost Dog Dairy we do it the best way. 100% fresh goat milk is in every bar – no exceptions.
The goats are milked in the morning and that milk is immediately filtered and used in one of four ways – fermented for Farm Dog Formula, sold on farm to our dedicated customers, consumed by the family, or frozen into cubes for the next batch of soap.

Nourishing – Moisturizing – Revitalizing
That is what each bar gives you. Treat your skin to the best soap there is – no joke. The combination of goats milk, coconut oil, palm oil, and olive oil is perfect for a perfect bar. Be prepared for your skin to be silky smooth.

Creative – Unique – One of a Kind
Every bar is different. I love swirls, layers and colors and am always searching for new techniques to incorporate into my designs. Sometimes I add an exfoliant, such as poppy seeds or lemon peels, to give the bar a texture you can really get clean with. All my bars have a fragrance. These fragrances sometimes change with the season but all are favorites of mine.

Family Farm
Every bar of soap has been produced right on our family farm. I can actually look out from my soap station and see what goats are causing trouble! Most likely Big Girl or Princess Shithead. We are veteran owned and have created a regenerative and sustainable farm that is teeming with life. We take great pride and care in our land and all of our animals.

Our Alpines and Saanens rotationally graze our fields and hedges during the Spring, Summer, and Fall. In the Winter, we bring the forest and fields to them! We make hay from our land all summer long, so, during those cold Winter months, our goats get to taste and remember those dreamy summer days. As a treat, an Evergreen is harvested from our land and included in their diet. The goats do love our Christmas leftovers (think tree)!

They thrive here in Northern Vermont and will do well in less harsh climates. Our garlic bulbs are between 1.0-2.5oz and have about 4-7 large cloves in each bulb. These are fantastic bulbs for cooking due to their large cloves and sweet flavor when roasted.

These unique sausages combine the flower (scape) of our organic garlic plants and both goat meat and pastured pork from our farm. The flavor from garlic scapes is milder and softer compared to garlic cloves. Our goats are raised on their own mothers milk before transitioning to organic certified pasture.

USDA Inspected

Our goat and pork are both USDA inspected and then packed and frozen. Our sausages are shipped in insulated, biodegradable packaging with gel packs.

Shipping Costs

Our shipping costs are dependent on location and is only offered in the Continental US. New England and most Eastern States will be charged a flat rate of $12; Southern and Central States – $25; Mid Western States – $35; and Western States – $40. This shipping cost includes all handling, our biodegradable packaging, and gel packs.

Arrival, Storing, and Thawing

All products are shipped frozen and may arrive still frozen or slightly thawed. If the meat is still cool, you can refrigerate and cook or refreeze.
Keep sealed meat in the refrigerator for not more than 1 week and if opened, no more than 2 or 3 days. For meats in the freezer, use within 6 months.
Thaw meat overnight in your refrigerator for best results and then enjoy in your favorite recipe!
